I LUTUNG AND I KEKUA

Once upon a time there lived a monkey and a turtle. The monkey was known as a clever animal. One day the monkey and the turtle got hungry and they decided to go to a place to find something to eat. Fortunately, the turtle knew a place owned by Ki Brodong which was filled with bananas. After some discussion, they decided to go to the Ki Brodong’s place. But to go to that place, they had to pass through a deep river. It was not a big problem for the turtle. But the monkey looked a little confused and afraid to pass the river. And then the monkey figured out how to pass the river. After a while he got an idea. And he asked to be on the back of the turtle to cross the river and promised to give the turtle a tasty banana. The turtle agreed. Soon the monkey was riding on the back of the turtle and they began to cross the river.
Without any significance problems, they arrived at Ki Brodong’s place. By steping slowly, the monkey looked into the window of ki brodong’s house to ensure that ki brodong did not know their arrival. And he found that the house was empty. They got excited. That was when the monkey started his action. Without any fears, he climbed up a banana tree which belonged to ki brodong. After picking a lot of bananas, the monkey had forgotten everything. He did not keep his promise. He did not give a turtle a single banana. The monkey was really greedy. But unfortunately, suddenly ki brodong came and found the monkey’s action. Without thinking a lot, ki brodong ran towards the banana tree with a spear. As he arrived under the banana tree, he immediately threw his spear to the monkey. And the monkey was hit by the spear right in his back. Because of his greed and treachery, the monkey eventually died because of ki brodong’s sharp spear.
